More on semi-dereliction, painting decay

I’ve just written a piece on our trip to Yorkshire that mentions a Prunella Clough painting seen in Wakefield.  Much earlier I wrote of another painting by Clough in Chichester.  Now I’m reminded of another painter we met in September, at the Brighton Art Fair.

He is N R Hills, and he had some oils of broken windows, rusty ironwork and derelict buildings.  He gave us a copy of his 2010 ‘Beauty in Decay’.
