Launching the Veolia Dragonflies

Last night I attended a gathering at the Hollingdean waste facility, where I met the artists who designed the three dragonflies, and several other local folk.  The mayor was there and there were nibbles but no wine.

Met Dan Danahar there, who spoke about the school environmental area and the courses they will soon offer other schools and colleges.  He mentioned that he was going down to the seafront to collect a box of mixed fish.  This was the launch of a new scheme to support local fisheries, and it got a mention in today’s Guardian.  I’d like to be a party to it, but there will be squid involved.
