There’s an election in Hanover tomorrow

Hanover ward here in Brighton is electing a new councillor tomorrow.  The by-election was called because one of the sitting Green Party councillors has decided to move away from the town.  I keep thinking I might offer to do some ‘knocking up’ for Labour.  The problem being many folk simply won’t bother coming out of their houses to vote.  And if the bit of graffiti I saw on the Level (a park at the bottom of Hanover) is anything to go by, very few will vote tomorrow.

'public property not councils - council out' they say.

‘public property not councils – council out’ they say.

If they don’t understand that the council IS the people there is little hope.
