Jays in the Garden

Last week saw a pair of jays collecting twiggery in our hornbeam.  Seen them once or twice since.  They always carry off their finds to the west – maybe they have a nest between our road (Upper Lewes Road) and Round Hill Crescent?  Hard chaps to photograph, but managed this one:

Colourful member of the rook and crow family - a pair of jays have been visiting our garden.
