Back to Brighton

We all met up at the Wig and Pen in Truro for a final lunch before splitting up.  Four of us starting the 9 hour train journey home to Brighton via Paddington and Victoria.  Ham, eggs and chips plus two pints of Proper Job aided my sleep on the train.

Before that Jackie and I explored the Cornish Food Festival tent on Lemon Quay.  Tried two Cornish gins, and I had a half of Exmoor Stag at the adjacent Wetherspoon’s – no wonder I slept well on the train.  There’s a grand vigorous statue of a drummer (by Tim Shaw) nearby.
