A walk in the Cemetery between downpours

Yesterday afternoon I managed 2 hours walking in Woodvale cemetery, just along the road.  Whilst staring at a south facing grass bank managed for wildlife I saw a small orange butterfly sunning itself much as I was.

Turned out to be a small copper (they don’t just get younger, they get smaller these days).  Probably one of the third generation this year, but unlikely to find any good stand of Sorrel for its eggs, so perhaps the end of the line for that one.
