Brighton Station getting festive

Passing through the station last week I was delighted to see a Christmas tree and hear classical piano.  The hustle and bustle of homeward travellers was softened by the music.  I first saw public pianos at St Pancras Station a year or more ago, and the idea is spreading.

28th November 2014. Not sure of the gender of the pianist. hair fell with equal thickness all around the head. Nice music though.

Out in the darker world I looked up the last section of the Greenway – a sort of wildlife corridor from the station to near Preston Circus.  Most has been complete for some months, this is the last bit, and the concrete steps have just been cast in situ.

Looking up towards the station, past newly cast steps.
