To Tunbridge Wells

The plan was to go to the Rohan Shop, which we did.  But the better bit was lunch at the Pantiles, more precisely the Ragged Trousers, a bar at 44 The Pantiles.

Pumps at the Ragged Trousers. I tried all but the Long Blonde, with which I am already familiar!

Excellent fancy sandwiches.  Jackie had a Croque Madame and I had a beef and melted cheese baguette.  That croquet thing is a toasted cheese and ham sandwich with a fried egg on top.  I even enjoyed the music – The Smiths – no more gloomy than Mr Cohen is depressing.

The bus ride was a delight.  Lots of orchards as we approached T Wells, some newly planted.
