Sunny AND Warm

Today its bright sunshine, but cold winds and no time to lie out on the grass watching the newly budding trees against the blue sky.  This was not the case a few days back when I was doing just that, and watching toads watching me from the duckweed covered pond.

Strong sunshine divides bare branches into black and white halves. The leafy hornbeam in contrast to the budding apple on the left and slower oak and hazel on the right. And it was WARM.
