Dan of the Naked Brewery

Whilst having a quiet pint (actually several halves) in the Evening Star a few days ago I was approached by a young ‘hipster’ guy/dude called Dan.  He is a brewer at Naked Brewery in Lancing, and he did not pick me out as a cool dude brother, but as a buyer of one of his beers.  I had been delighted to find it still available having discovered it a few days earlier – it being Tomfoolery (6.5%).  Delicious pudding of a beer with a certain something wonderful in the background.  Dan told me it was cascara which is the fruit surrounding the coffee bean as it grows.  Steeped in water it releases delicious flavours, and they added it to Tomfoolery.

Try it if you find it.
