Roamed the town yesterday, and one place I chose to explore was a new bottled beer shop in East Street called Bison’s. I’d read about it the June issue of Viva Brighton, in an article about the home brewing lessons they offer in the pub opposite. Full mash brewing as well.
Wanted to buy a little something, and the guy suggested a bootle of Daytime Ale by Lagunitas Brewery. Absolutely delicious fruity hops and loads of bitterness in a pale ale. Excellent even if it was £2.50 for 355ml. Loads of peculiar phrases on the label including “A Fractional IPA (is that ridiculous or what . . ?!)”. To which I can only say yes, it’s ridiculous.
