Say that the big Mediterranean glasshouse is the biggest single span glasshouse IN THE WORLD! It is a glorious structure, but already showing signs of inadequate maintenance budget, and it’s only been open 15 years.


Some very big Ghanaian tree stumps form an artwork which was first exhibited in Trafalgar Square in 2009 and now permanently (until they decay completely) at this site.


On the way out we walked past a small but beautifully formed narrow artificial stream.
