Painting the House

We started to wash it down on the 7th May, and finished the masonry painting on the 14th and the woodwork (front door and gate posts) done by the 16th.  All this whilst re-balancing my diabetes drugs – I’m now off gliclazide, thanks to a low carbohydrate diet, and a couple of evenings at Brighton Festival events – ‘Birthday in Suburbia’ at the Warren and ‘Shakespeare – the Complete Deaths’ at the Theatre Royal.

We celebrated teh masonry paint completion with a little fillet steak and vegetables, and to prove it here is the plate complete with finger.  I weighed the potatoes, and calculated their carb content at 19%, as advised by my Ministry of Food Fish and Agriculture guide.
