When we visited York last summer we spotted a fine statue of Alice (looking glass, rabbit holes, white queen, etc) in a garden visible from a part of the city walls. But I could learn no more of it.
In Bridport a few weeks ago Steve mentioned a workshop and gallery of a local artist which had displayed a fine Alice statue. No longer in a window, but knowing the artist’s name (Robert James) we sought it out on line, and here it is:
